Mini 12v Cordless Drill
I was actually in search of a compact drill when I received the gold box deal email. $99 was a deal not worth passing up. I had originally thought the fork meter was the "bonus" but it is actually the drill that is. As you can see in the pics, the case is meant for the meter and accessories. This did not matter to me as I carry the meter in my toolcase and do not have any use for blow molded cases.

Craftsman 20.0v Lithium Ion (which is by far the best drill I ever bought for the price - the Milwaukee V28 is more powerful, but roughly 3x the price) just gets overwhelming for. It's bigger than I thought (and I've toyed with them in hardware stores), but seems to have some torque. Looks like standard Milwaukee build quality - i.e. very good, strong, with a motor that will last a long time.

As for battery life, well, can't comment yet. The meter I would assume will last a long time on battery (manual says 12 hrs, wouldn't doubt it). I'm totally new to this tool line, so I don't have any expectations. I can say that this drill will be more for the occasional random job, or hanging a light fixture type work - building a deck leads me to use my other, way heavier duty tools.
